Back Story
Biker League started as a Motorcycle Repair Shop but evolved into a biker paradise. They sell high-quality bike accessories and organize expeditions across India. We helped Biker League to streamline the sales and the servicing of bikes that come to their repair shop.
We developed mobile apps in Android, iOS, and Web interfaces for customer and service engineers.
What is Biker League?
For Customers
Biker League customer app acts as an interface between the bike owners and the service engineers. Customers can save much hassle of waiting and gets continuously updated about their vehicle status. Biker League has a community module that helps bickers interact with each other.
For Service Engineers
Biker League is a complete system with total control of the entire supply chain. Starting from material procurement to customer purchase. It also streamlines and prioritizes tasks automatically based on the programmed workflow to all the service engineers.
Features
Flexible Appointment Scheduling
No need to stay longer in the queue and get tired of waiting. The app allows to book the bike service at any place and anytime. Biker League app shows the progress in real-time.
Vehicle Management
The Biker League app take care of the management of insurance and next service due dates by automatically scheduling the next service type and the service dates.
Live Video Relay
The biker can have a live video showing the progress of the app. The assigned technician can get real- time approvals from the customers, thus accelerating the time taken for part approval.
Intelligent Queue Management
The service manager app intelligently prioritizes the jobs on the fly depending upon the congestion. The automatically chooses which technician is apt for the complaint.
UX Research
Biker League mainly focuses on high-end motorbikes; thus the app experience demanded by bikers are also on the higher side. Tart Labs's designing team studied the entire process in depth and came up with a UX strategy that satisfies all its users. We spent some valuable time in crafting the wireframes.
Colours
Visual Design
Tart Labs used the wireframes to analyze each and ever possible scenarios. The designing team at Tart Labs came up with a fantastic theme for the application that matches the mood of the bikers.

To embrace the mood of the bikers and the technicians we choose a color palette which, as you can see, includes shades of turquoise blue and black.
Typography
For headliners, we chose Montserrat as the font family with a crisp style. Also, Open Sans for all the sublines, making the app professional and appealing.

A Companion App for the Bikes and the Bikers.
Android & iOS
Biker League is designed having every customer in mind. Simple interfaces and direct one-click actions make the Biker League apt for every customer. Every app's navigation plays a vital role in the ease of use of that app.
So on Android, we decided to use a simple sidebar menu with base sections. This simplified navigation. In the iOS version, we used a tab-bar, and this resulted in significant differences in navigation between two apps.
